How it works
Murray High Alumni Association has partnered with the USANA Kids Eat to help ensure Murray High students have access to food when they can’t rely on school meals.
For about $1/meal we can help provide meals for all Murray High students who need a little extra help. 100% of donations go to straight to providing the food.
First, let me express our sincere gratitude for supporting the Murray High School community through the USANA Kids Eat program. Approximately one in every four students at Murray identifies as economically disadvantaged. This does not include the students who do not complete the paperwork to declare economic hardship. The Kids Eat program has helped provide these students the assurance and security of nutrition and regular meals. Students have been identified and are given a food bag every Friday. Many students were apprehensive at first but have since come to rely on that bag. One parent mentioned to me, “These bags have been really helpful. With our large family, I often run low on our food stamps and these bags help supplement what I am unable to.” Thank you, again, for your support of Murray and our students.
